Re: APOD Assessment Poll: Leading Question
The leading question in applicable APODs is interesting to me. Sometimes I know the answer to the question, so it's not really that big of a deal when I read the explanation. At other times I think I know the answer so I read the explanation to check. If I end up being wrong, then I learn something ...

Re: Weather!
Enjoy the rain, Orin. At least you won't be getting severe weather. A "quadruple point", or a warm front, a cold front, a dry line, and a trough connected to a low-pressure area, is going to come close by during the evening hours, and that could bring flooding, large hail, strong winds, an...

What is this?! Snow on the second of May?! The grass is already almost completely covered. We could get 1 to 3 inches of snow on the ground. This is crazy! Where is spring?!

Re: Weather!
I woke up at one in the morning, just in time to experience a severe thunderstorm coming our way. By the time it passed, nearly all of the concrete surface was covered with hail. What covered the more abstract surfaces? I dunno, water :?: No, I was really talking about the concrete in my backyard. ...

Got one! This is one of my favorite shorts:

Glitter like a swarm of fireflies
Tangled in a silver braid.

Just got back from skiing in Winter Park, CO, and guess what I am greeted with? Snow. And to think that I was literally surrounded by it for the past six days. It's absolutely terrible outside! This winter weather has gone absolutely crazy. It's snowing pretty hard now, and unlike just a few days ago, this snow is having a larger impact. Oh boy, here we go again. Monday is another hot spot for winter weather. Depending on where this low pressure system tracks, we could see rain, a little snow, or 6-10 inches of snow.
