When a terrestrial feature gets in the way of an astronomical view, is it not possible to remove said terrestrial feature using Photoshop? We seem to be moving towards TPOD (Terrestrial Picture of the Day) again. What exactly does this picture have to do with Astronomy?

It seems that the number of terrestrial scenes with some astronomical scenes in the background are increasing on APOD and today we have a scene with no astronomical details at all.
