This is off topic. The NASA's Eyes app is displaying incorrect data for the Juno mission. It says Orbit #2 when it is now orbit #3. I have been trying to find a way to contact SOMEONE to report this so that it might be fixed. Please advise!

Re: APOD: 3D Ahuna Mons (2016 Mar 19)
Dawn reached it's lowest orbit in mid-December and since then there have been hardly any images released at the website. Just a few redundant flyover videos. And even this is just a new look at an object featured almost a year ago. Disappointing to say the least. It appears we know more about Pluto ...

Re: APOD: To Scale: The Solar System (2015 Dec 25)
I started making scale models of the Solar System back in the early 80s. I did it with drawings on a large roll of butcher paper but found I still had to draw gaps which represented millions of miles or the roll of paper would have been too large. The scale I used was close to what these guys used; ...

Re: APOD: Bright Spots Resolved in Occator on... (2015 Sep 1
At least one-quarter of Ceres’s mass is water. So it seems likely this is ice. And if a faint haze develops in this crater then why not a hot spot similar to Yellowstone on Earth. Perhaps initiated by the impact that formed the crater weakening the crust and allowing these geyser like outflows or su...

Pardon our dust. It's just the turbinium reactor being activated by Douglas Quaid. Just the beginning of the terraforming project. Mars rocks!

I clicked neither yes or no. I'm not sure if I really understand what you are asking. I've been following this page since 1995 and I'm not sure if I have ever even noticed the leading question. If I did, it certainly did not bother me. It is your page and you can ask those kinds of questions and I c...

Re: APOD: Strawberry Sun (2013 Aug 29)
"Otherworldy?" Obviously the writer of the description doesn't spend much time outdoors. Alternatively, he doesn't spend much time near forest fires. I think it's fair to say most people don't spend much time engulfed in smoke. I'm sorry to say I have spent entirely TOO much time engulfed...
