goes to show just how difficult it is to interpret pictures

Hello all,
This is my first post
Could it be a galaxy with an active nucleus, or a galaxy who's nucleus is coincident with a foreground star?
I'm curious to know if the two globule-like things at the bottom are anything to do with picture.
