I visit the apod since 2009, when a professor of astrophysics recommended me the site. In his words, "the most beautiful images already photographed the universe" This in undergraduate biological sciences. I have learned a lot since then. Congratulations o/ http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap1201...

During the trip, these radio waves do not undergo radiation fields? the message would not be canceled or changed?
And what about the Arecibo reply? there was some news of fraud in 2001, of people doing the crop circles?

Hello evryone
Im curious about some light spots in the image
In the blue circles, are these light areas the same of the light in the pink circle? Is it some light effect reflection?
Oh, I wonder if we can see more pictures of this trail
Thanks!

Re: APOD: Halo of the Cats Eye (2010 May 09)
Amazing picture! Nice start my sunday with this!
I always stop some time to see Cats Eye nebula related pictures; but I didnt knew it has a halo, and so expanded like that
Sry if this is a noob question but, if those are false colors what true colors it would be?
Have a nice day~

Hi everyone o/
So, they look horizontal lines to me, not vertical ones to be like trees
And about colors, imagine how much amazing scenarios we miss without using the colors filters
