At 16:00 about half way between Wolf- Lundmark- Melotte and the edge of the picture two interacting galaxies can be seen. Is there a closeup of them in the archive?

What seems interesting to me: - Why is gravel laying on the smooth surface of the neck? I mean one of the two chunks should serve as a center of gravity where the rocks fall on. Or ist this the place where the the gravity of both big pieces compensates each other? - Close to the top edge of the pict...

No more pictures
Since I downloaded the "Ultraviolet Andromeda" on September 17th I don't see a picture of APOD anymore. The text appears fine, just the picture is missing.
