Yes but the magnitude of the effect, especially at near normal incidence angle, is rather uncommon, I think. I have been unable to find another window (at my home and office) to duplicate the effect. If someone has, was the picture posted here ? I didn't post a picture, but I have a pretty ordinary...

Chris and everybody else, You guys are right. The overall angle doesn't matter and it is indeed just a matter of how parallel the window panes are. Now that I'm at home, I have a sliding glass door and a flashlight with which I can easily conduct little experiments. The direction of the ghost images...
