Re: And the real reason for expansion is ....

Big black holes slow time down. if your orbiting it, your time will slow down. while the outside universe is on fast forward mode. if your traveling at the speed of light, the whole universe slows down, while your time remains the same. Yet the real time is hundreds of years per second can you see ...

Re: And the real reason for expansion is ....

I think he was saying the same thing in two different ways -- time runs "faster" on the train, or on the ship orbitting the black hole. Big black holes slow time down. if your orbiting it, your time will slow down. while the outside universe is on fast forward mode. if your traveling at t...

And the real reason for expansion is ....

The real reason for expansion is .... Please take what you about to read as a form of question. I have never read this any where it comes straight from my mind. Although, I did watch a tv program made by professor S.Hawking, which got me thinking. His new series is on every Sunday, on discovery. His...

Our Non Local Universe

I,m not that good with Quantum Mechanics. But i think I understand What this guy is saying. The whole universe is an illusion, all of time is an illusion. Is this guy for Real? http://imaginingthetenthdimension.blogspot.com/2009/03/our-non-local-universe.html I guess the actual truth will be hard to...

Re: CXC: X-ray Discovery Points to Location of Missing Matte

Thanks Chris Yeah, Its was this bit that through me. However, an inventory of the nearby Universe has turned up only about half as much normal matter, an embarrassingly large shortfall. End of the line... no more to read. I could have continued, But as my question found its self berried under the ru...

Hi Folks Did we not have this discussion before? I went right back, and only found missing Energy. Oh well. Re: IU: Our universe at home within a larger universe?

But on a serious note . Would not being inside a giant black hole, give a good reason for a Dark Flow? I'd say no, simply because there's not a shred of theory associated with black holes that describes what happens to matter inside a black hole. So amongst other unknowns, it can't be determined if...

Thanks for your time Chris.

Do you think the impact is consistent with an orbital body or an incoming commit? And does the crater give any sort of time period of when, how long ago it happened?

Re: Off-center collision of two celestial bodies.

The point i was trying to make, is the fact the Earth and Mars both have a similar rotation time, yet Mars has no big Moon to slow it down. So why are they the same?

Hi

I understand that the earth is spinning because of the above  .

Why is mars Spinning?

When did the Moon stop spinning And why?

Is it true, another 30 thousand miles out, and the Moon is lost forever?

Re: Information paradox

In reality, calling this a "paradox" is a little inaccurate. The fact is, we have no well developed theory about what happens to material inside a black hole, so while the information problem is an interesting one, it doesn't rise to the level of "paradox". Oh, right. When I wat...

Information paradox

Information paradox Easy, something comes from nothing, it should go back to nothing. Where is, the ''universe's'' nothing? Professor Stephan hawking, has argued for thirty years that matter inside a black hole just disappears? Why did he change his mind? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pF63fxXMKTM ...
