Yes, I agree that we are doing more than science here, we are doing meta-science. By that I mean, science knows how to test whether or not a hypothesis is correct, but it doesn't know how to test the likelihood of a hypothesis being correct. There simply is no science for that, it's more like intuit...

I agree with those points, but I also point out that it might be premature to count Einstein wrong.
