Where is the scale bar? Come on, I know they don't come preprinted on the terrain, but we don't have any idea of the scale here.
I add my voice to the cacophony pointing out that this is an ongoing problem in APOD images.

I agree with Dean. The photography community long ago agreed that published photos that are enhanced or altered with image-editing software should be identified as such. This pertains especially to composite photos, such as pasting a plane or bird against the full moon, etc., for dramatic effect. In...
