I'm just stating my beliefs. Not trying to persuade anybody to believe anything. The reason I typed those verses was to merely support the reason for my beliefs. I apologize if it sounded like I was being holier-than-thou earlier (I wasn't trying to be.) You sounded fine to me. There's only one Holie...

Orga .. Thanks for your links, in which I found this: "In Greek mythology, Arcturus is a star created by Zeus to protect the nearby constellations, Arcas and Callisto (Ursa major and Ursa minor)." Is there perhaps an astronomical influence of Arcturus which assists the bears in retaining t...

Nereid and Orca .. genuine thanks for sharing. It seems my picture of most scientists distorting theories as facts is wrong (?) - or are you two exceptions? Please don't think I do not accept other views as legitimate opinions. I can gain nothing material from my scientific interest because it is no...

Duom's quote - "Uhh. I think that when the density of the cloud is the same of the earth atmosphere or denser"

Duom .. Life is so variable in form and environment even here on earth that life in space will have evolved in totally unimaginable environments, pressures, temperatures, etc.

Apodman .. wow .. yeah like that one .. and like his drawing of Noah's boat drifting away from the people on the mountaintops. And what is to come upon our planet shortly. I'm glad to see this new JesusFreak guy on the forum .. miracles of the Last Days, etc.

Noel C has visions.

Also in that Old Testament somewhere "The earth is a sphere suspended on nothing" .. that was easily seen by the earth's shadow cast onto the moon .. easily seen, but not easily understood if an observer has theories cast in concrete .. which is why theories must be taught as theories .. B...

Not bad for amateurs, Apodman, but for real visions of hell check out Gustave Dore`s bible. Sorry, but I can't provide a url.

Doré's English Bible (1866) was a great success, and in 1867 Doré had a major exhibition of his work in London.

My memory may be misled, but I recall Venus as having 600 mph winds, and for sure the atmosphere is so thick it can't be seen through. I can't imagine gravity differences being so different as to mount a challenge. The Soviets' achievement was miraculous, and I can't imagine what secret technology R...
