What a cool idea! Better be careful though... I learned a long time ago that when you come up with good ideas you often get assigned the implementation task!

One thing I hope that discoveries from the LHC and other future particle colliders will lead is better understanding how the gravitational force is created. Until we learn if this fundamental force can be controlled by some artificial means, long-term space travel will remain very difficult to atta...

Re: When Particles Collide

... A tiny peep hole into an engineering sketch of the cosmos creation origin... I was hoping to get some comments/discussion regarding the implications of cosmology from particle accelerators. It has been 'projected' that the collision of the subatomic particles is likened to a minute window into ...

Image manipulation is relative to the subject and matter. If the image has historic or legal witness aspects... Of course, it has to be untampered. If an image has artistic or scientific out-of-our-visual-range-information... it makes for a more interesting subject (subjectivly of course) to do some...

Re: View of Earth from Moon during Lunar Eclipse?

That should prove to be a beautiful image indeed... 8) The red coloring of the moon during the eclipse is from the ring of sunsets around our planet. I believe the red sunset phenomenon is called Rayleigh scattering.
