I am sorry, but I don't understand this... how does duplicating parts of the spiral arms, in a straight pattern... alternating the "brushes" like in a paint program to show 6-7 pointed "arms"... "unwind" a galaxy with only 2 spiral arms....yet is overlayed on a 2nd gala...

Always a great view... my shot of Saturn from the other week... a great object no matter the distance.

Looking at wide angle shots it does not seem to be reacting with any other close galaxy... so I am thinking there was a merger...there is a very bright area in the right side of the bar... I am wondering if that is where the other nucleus is... or maybe there was a satellite galaxy and that caused s...

Great looking shot... amazing... but IF you look at the top trunk "differently"... you can see a female cosmic "fish-woman"... The elephant's "eye" ...is HER eye... a rather fishy eye...lower she has... Legs...

I have a good view of the Big Dipper, but haven't been able to find the comet... too many trees in the way, even from my deck... I can see parts of the horizon, but just can't seem to get the comet... but a great picture like this is... um... GREAT...
