I find it harder to visualize a giant cloud collapsing and forming individual concentrations of gas/disk that rotate independently to form ...

This is one of the most amazing planetary photographs I have ever seen, (and I have seen a lot).

There is a greenish/purple/red mottled appearance to the image that looks more like a processing effect than it does "natural color". The effect is more noticeable in the darker areas on the moon. It may be my monitor, so I'll reserve judgment. I see this sort of feature in over-processed ...

I'm interested in knowing how a globular cluster would form. Were they formed before the galaxy formed? Can they exist inside the galaxy or do they only exist in the galactic halo? How do the mechanics of star formation differ in globular clusters than from say stars forming in the gas and dust clou...

I find it interesting that the beam seems to be a series of bursts. Does this indicate the accretion disk is not uniform?

My question is: How much greater is the tidal force of a super-moon to a micro-moon, (assuming the distance from the sun is the same in both cases)? What does this translate to in average tidal changes,( %-wise)? Also, if you consider that, as the moon orbits the earth, two zones of deformation move...
