I'm sorry to say I think this is the worst ever APOD photo. There was either too much, or not enough, post production work done on it. Washed out color, bland sky and no real point of focus.

At first I considered this an inappropriate APOD . Now, after some thought, it seems there's more to it than meets the eye. One pic is worth a thousand words.
