Re: BITOD: Can Search Engines Find Inquiries from the Future
Well, Chris, I must agree, "It is as easy to imagine traveling in that direction as in any of the three spatial dimensions." the only time traveling that will be done is with ones "imagination". While it remains a physicality and fact that I can travel in the other three. Spaceti...

Re: BITOD: Can Search Engines Find Inquiries from the Future
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time Time is a component of the measuring system used to sequence events, to compare the durations of events and the intervals between them, and to quantify the motions of objects. Time has no valid physicality, it is only an mutually agreed upon measurement of duration....

Re: BITOD: Searching for Micrometeorites in Snow
Gorkow, Thanks for the answer. In any case, have you thought of using a high power electrical magnetic field to look for copper in the micro meteorites? Copper can only pass through a magnetic field slowly and thus you could separate them from other particles. Just an idea for your experiment to be ...

Re: BITOD: Searching for Micrometeorites in Snow
So, from this I take it you are only looking for micro meteorites that can only be attracted to a magnet?
What about all the others that are nonmagnetic?

A bad idea of the day. Or, in other words, "Think Tank" ideas. If you can get it for free, , , , , , , why pay for it? What I would like to know is how you are going to deal with the very obvious IAC (Information Acquisition and Control) agents posting in these forums? (Often called "...

Re: BITOD: Can Search Engines Find Inquiries from the Future
Can Search Engines Find Inquiries from the Future? My answer is NO! Why can I, or would I, just simply state NO? Time travel would be the "ULTIMATE WEAPON" in the hands of anyone that could do it. At the present time, (pardon the pun), the study of time travel is only, as RJN stated "...

Yes, 40 years since we went to the moon for the first time. Now we have to reverse engineer the technology that got us there in the first place just to try and get back?!?!
