The H2O most likely is seepage of melting ground water, there is no evidence that water ever precipitated from clouds on Mars. Evidence of water/water erosion is found mostly in lower elevations, water/water erosion in the higher elevations all appears to start from hillsides meters below the surfac...

I would guess the worms could also be stretched but probably not, I can not say what roll close proximity gravity plays in the expansion effect. But the way I see it is that it is the area between gravitational clusters that is expanding. Picture two galaxies, the gravitational force is also pulling...

It is more advantagous to show ideas clearly than it is to spot light one's brilliance. Here is an analogy that may help, you can figure the exact math if you feel it necessary. Take a 1 meter strip of elastic cord and in the relaxed position make a mark every centimeter, tack one end of the cord in...

Because of the stretching of time/space, the medium which light travels, it is possible that not all light has reached us yet.

To over simplify, the equation would be: Speed of light times the distance from the big bang plus the factor of expansion equals the total size of the universe.

I know one cannot believe everything they read, but I do remember reading something a few years ago about an array of optical telescopes spread across the northern hemisphere that took a photo of Armstrong's footprint. Does anybody else remember this story?

APOD 02/08/2005

Looking at the APOD for 02/08/2005, without knowing speed, distance, reflective or self illumination or, relative brightness, all guesses will be pure speculation. If this object was viewed simultaneously on the next island, get the information, triangulate, and make some calculations to rule out as...

I wish I work on one of these projects, but no I didn't. The reason there is no altitude differentiation is the same reason why looking far into the distance your stereoscopic vision has a hard time judging distances the farther away the objects are (don't count the hazing from our atmosphere). The ...
