Greetings,
I'm an astronomical artist (member of the
IAAA - International Association of Astronomical Artists) and have seen astronomical art being displayed on the APOD page by people like Marc Garlick and Lynette R. Cook.
So I thought I may present my artwork here and see if it gets accepted. Below is my illustration of
51 Pegasi b, or "Bellerophon". I have based the illustration on known scientific data. For example; as you can see, a faint cometary tail is visible.
