In today's text (3/2/5), the link "SMART-1" is wrong.

Today's (2/2/05) points to tomorrow (2/3/05).

Also, in today's text, the word linking to this page: http://www.aip.org/history/electron/ is "elections" not "electrons."

It may have been changed, but the way it is working now is correct behaviour, the latest picture should simply point to itself with the > link.

And now the > link for 1/2/5 points back to itself. Usually it points to a 404.

I always click on the > link, so that it changes colour. I can use this later if I miss one of the APODs.

I used to also try to peek ahead on the APODs. It must be more than a year since it was changed, but it used to be the case that although 'tomorrow' was always a 404, a date further in the future in the URL would let you peek ahead.

I assume RJN prepares the pics in advance (particularly the weekend ones) and runs a script to rename them at midnight (EST?).

I noticed this last night myself actually but didn't think anything of it since the new one wasn't up yet.

I'll mention it to Dr. Nemiroff at lunch today.

UPDATE: It seems to be fixed now.

The > link below the 31 Jan 05 takes the reader back to the 26 Jan 05 APOD as opposed to the 1 Feb 05.
