C/2013 US10 (Catalina) on September 19 2015 from Siding Spring by Marion Haligowski, on Flickr

Comet C/2013 US10 (Catalina) was photographed on September 19, 2015 using the 90 mm wide field Takahashi telescope at the Siding Spring Observatory in Australia using iTelescope. The exposure was 600 seconds, 417 mm, f/5.6. Developing was done in Nebulosity with enhancement and hot pixel removal in Lightroom.

Comet 15P Finlay recent outburst on January 18th, 23:27ut. The comets outburst on 16th December 2014 from magnitude 11 to magnitude 9 becoming bright enough to seen in common binoculars. On 23 December 2014, 15P and Mars were only 1/6th of a degree apart in the sky after sunset. But by 23 December 2014 the comet had dimmed considerably since the outburst.
