Sliding Plasma and a Blow Out
For over a day a massive cloud of plasma can be seen by STEREO Behind spacecraft as it coils and slides along above the Sun's surface before it rises up and dissipates (May 20, 2012). Immediately following that a prominence on the lower left of the Sun arches out and quickly breaks away over a few hours. These images were taken in extreme UV light.
