A try on the Veil Nebula (NGC 6960)

by smallmadtv » Mon Sep 14, 2009 9:05 pm

Hi,

I have image the Veil Nebula in my native Belgium...

I use a Skywatcher 80Ed refractor + Idas LPS filter + Canon 350d (unfiltered) on a NEQ6Pro Mount.
The session was autoguided with Orion Starshoot autoguider and an antares guiding scope using PHD.

Shoot during the 1 hour where no clouds were in the field. I take 11 shots of 5min@800ISO + 6 darks + flats and bias.

Here is a crop of the full image on the NGC 6960

Have a look at the full view (100%):

I use Deepskystaker and Photoshop CS2 for processing.

I hope you like it!

comments are welcome!

Best Regards
Andy
