Hi Orin, You're right again about the fun... I was very intimidated at first due to the intellegence that posts here... but ya'll have turned out to be nice and tolerant. It is lots of fun to post and be posted back. I learn a lot and make cyber friends. :D

BTW - my Earth bound friends sometimes call me MrEd (like the horse)... sometimes they call me other stuff too.

Hi Ed! Glad to have been of help. A lot of new folk can use some help getting started; and it's worth staying around as it is very educational and a lot of fun. :)

No problem Orin, I got your back man... you're one of the first folks here to help me orient.... not that I am oriented... you taught me it is OK to use these APOD's for wallpaper. 8)

Yes Sir! These local APOD's are among my favorites too... I like the fact that it doesn't take light years to get there! And the inclusion of celestial objects with Earth based objects makes for a very beautiful composition!
Thanks for posting the url; I forgot.

Hoodoo: You do. I do? you do. do what? voo doo. It's been a while so I don't know if I have the lyric right.
I love pictures like this. they are prime subjects for my PC wallpapers. One of the nicest things about APOD is that you never run out of background images. The crescent moon looks full from overexposure. I've noticed this on other time exposures of the moon. Personally I think it looks better that way.
