ahhh... this image is the best! reminds me of something i wrote...part of it at least...from Release!, a poem of gettin the heck out of Dodge. =b
...as one, the essence of our beings merge within to establish the crux of all we desire in this bonding... the demons roar, and angels sing... we lift heads and spread our wings... soaring beyond the confines of the sleepless realms below, to the vastness that is the everafter we must go... bursting forth upon the unwary hordes gathered not so far... the might of our love then blazes forth from afar, scattering and turning, shifting all phases of this space, leaving bodies ridden with the spectral forms of our heavenly wake...

...the defiant passage opens wide our own ideals, the glimmer of hope and release exclaiming how we feel... and from the depths of the earth, can the lonely now see, that the new star above them has been set free... leaving the realms locked within a turmoil of mistrust, gathering strength and our passion and surviving is a must...

If I had to pick an all time favorite band the Moody Blues would be at the forefront. I have all the vinyl from Days * to Blue Jays. I picked up a couple of greatest hits CDs... real fine artists!

They took a liking to the space program, lucky for us.

Faithful Moody Blues fan since Days of Future Passed. Have all of their vinyl thru Octave. Plus two by Ray Thomas and Blue Jays by John and Justin (sounds like The Moody Blues). Been to every concert in OKC since Threshold of a Dream except two. Once I was in the service. Once I didn't know they were coming.

Actually that is Higher and Higher by Graeme Edge from To Our Children's Children's Children by The Moody Blues. Ride My See-Saw by John Lodge was on In Search of the Lost Chord. Quite appropriate, though.
  • Blasting, billowing, bursting forth with the power of ten billion butterfly sneezes
Man, with his flaming fire, has conquered the wayward breezes
Climbing to tranquility far above the cloud
Conceiving the heaven clear of misty shroud

Higher and higher, now we've learned to play with fire
We go higher and higher and higher

Vast vision must improve our sight and perhaps at last we'll see
An end to our home's endless blight and the beginning of the Free
Climb to tranquility, finding its real worth
Conceiving the heavens flourishing on earth
