I see..Viewing from the moon is almost exactly the same as viewing from earth..

Okay,(another question),what if we are on the surface on jupiter..(assume that we are an astronaut),and look high the sky..(neglect the gas surrounding..),since jupiter has moons around 32+-.would the scene of the moons, are the exact as ours..?the moon,in a parallel line?

Unfortunately, this only represents the apparent angular size when viewed from earth. Being on the moon would only put you 240,000 miles closer and the planets shown would still appear as points of light in the sky only slightly brighter than on earth.

Now on Mars, you might be close enough to discern Jupiter's striping and Saturns rings unaided.

Thank you! I'll give Photobucket a try. Your conjunction image is marvelous! Maybe yours will get picked for APOD :!:

If you set-up an account with Photobucket http://photobucket.com/ you can download your proposed images there and then paste an image into your message here.
like this one of mine:

This is my conception of what a lunar conjunction would look like between Mars, Jupiter and Saturn and it accurately depicts their relative apparent sizes when compared to the Lunar Disk.

I just can't seem to figure out how to submit an image for APOD...I feel silly, I must be missing something pretty obvious! :?
