According to wikipedia, 450 km/s as it passes the earth. So that would be about 1.6 million km/hour.

I cant identify the hot star in this APOD. I presume it is the one in the center [looks white] of the helmet part of this nebula. All in all this is a very impressive photo. Millions of kilometers per hour; wow, that's some wind. I wonder how fast the solar wind is from our Sol? :?
