These two neutron stars were once stars that shed their outer skin.

It is possible for them to grow another skin or possibly unite and form a larger star.

Wonder what would happen if one drew a straight line thru the centerline of the cone and extended it past the photograph. Perhaps it would point to an ancient Supernovae " thing " ???? :D

"One hypothesis holds that the Cone Nebula is formed by wind particles from an energetic source blowing past the Bok Globule at the head of the cone".

I think the object in front of the Bok Globule is causing the effects and maybe creating a zone for the Bok to form.

Maybe I'm seeing things.
