I do believe that question is answered on the APOD document. It is also answered here in this thread. (It's not often a student gets to tell the Professor to "Read it", not just look at it. :wink: )

As to what exposure? Don may have that answer, ask him? :)

Anyone know what exposure time was used? The earth image looks slightly streaked, as if a long exposure time was used.
