Alexander331, not an HDR. Two single shots stitched together. Follow the last link in the APOD text, then go to the "The shot" section near the end.

Songs!! I named the image "The Great Gig in the Sky" in part because, if you read the story (again, last link in the APOD text), you'd know the song played a few minutes before totality on this beach, while everything was happening (the entire Dark Side of the Moon played, actually). "Shine On You Crazy Diamond" will have to wait for some other time ;-)
