If there is not already one there should be a galaxy named the 'APOD Galaxy' to honour this long lasting and still looked forward to site. :D

PS. I fancy a piece of cake now. The saying "It's a piece of cake" comes to mind, though I'm not sure why! :)

Observatorio.info site is worth mentioning also ... it's the spanish translation of APOD, and it's the only language in which is translated all the 17 years of APOD. They run the spanish translation daily and they have also good sharing and social tools on the page.

A galaxy-filled birthday cake! How you managed to construct that cake in an expanding universe baffles me.
