Unfortunately, it was cloudy starting at Redding, so I back-tracked quickly to Red Bluff, CA, where I set up on the banks of the Sacramento River in town at Red Bluff City Park. I have to say, it was a lovely spot, and many people were there to view the eclipse. A couple from SF even got engaged with the groom-to-be pulling out the ring and placing it inside the Ring-of-Fire projection at their setup.
