Adam, I'm finally replying here!
The reason why I haven't replied sooner is that I wanted to look at your NGC 3190 group image at full resolution, and I couldn't find it by following the link. But as I was looking for a picture of NGC 5371 I stumbled on your recent, brilliant galaxy page. Thanks!!!!!
As for the NGC 3190 group, I find it quite amazing that disk galaxy NGC 3190 with its prominent dust lane and elliptical galaxy 3193 are almost exactly the same color and appear to be made up of almost exactly the same kind of stars. Blue NGC 3187 and intermediate NGC 3185 contrast nicely.
