Large Fireball Sighted Over East Coast

by Kat » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:56 pm

Greetings oh learned ones,

I'm afraid this has nothing to do with today's subject, but I haven't been able to find any information about this anywhere. A couple of days ago I heard a brief news story about a car-sized meteor that streaked over the east coast of the U.S. during daylight hours and was so bright that it could easily be seen during the day. I tried to find that story or photos or, perchance a video of the phenomenon online, but have been unsuccessful. Can someone tell me where I might find some information about this?

With gratitude--
