Adam, it's always good to have you back with a galaxy image! You know that I always like your colors. In this image, I like how the inner part of the galaxy is so "grainy" and full of small individual points of light, which, expecially given the pink color of many of the "dots", certainly signifies star formation. Other parts of the galaxy are relatively smooth, such as the lower bright arm, and in spite of its blue color it is probably made up mostly of intermediate aged stars. Thank you for this fine galaxy portrait!
