Thanks for the responses/links. I sorta figured it was a typo of sorts, but just wanted verification.
The links are especially great! :D

Hello All

Thanks starnut for that link, I like it.

It has been awhile since we saw the latest HST photo of Supernova 1987A in LMC. I wonder how far the blast wave has travelled by now. The last time I saw, it had lit up the inner ring.

Hello All

Maybe these links will help you.
The link above is missleading.

The Tarantula Zone

The Large Magellanic Cloud

quote
"The LMC is an irregular galaxy composed of a bar of older red stars, clouds of younger blue stars, and a bright red star forming region visible near the top of the above image called the Tarantula Nebula"

The Tarantula Nebula is left above the galaxy centre.

Yes, I'm sure they meant the one on the left.

This really is a magnificent photo. It makes me wonder what the view of the Milky Way must be like from the LMG!

In the description, it talks about a "prominent red knot on the right", but none of the red knots on the right are especially prominent, IMHO. Was the red knot towards the left the one that was supposed to be referred to? That one is very prominent.
Any clarity would be appreciated....

Oh yeah, the link:
