It has been awhile since we saw the latest HST photo of Supernova 1987A in LMC. I wonder how far the blast wave has travelled by now. The last time I saw, it had lit up the inner ring.

The Tarantula Nebula is left above the galaxy centre.

Yes, I'm sure they meant the one on the left.

This really is a magnificent photo. It makes me wonder what the view of the Milky Way must be like from the LMG!

In the description, it talks about a "prominent red knot on the right", but none of the red knots on the right are especially prominent, IMHO. Was the red knot towards the [b]left[/b] the one that was supposed to be referred to? That one is [i]very[/i] prominent.
Any clarity would be appreciated....
