It is difficult to explain the eerie, spooky sense that comes over me when seeing images of lenticular clouds like the one featured in today's APOD. Most of them take on an out-of-worldly appearance of beauty, in bizarre shapes, strange hues, looking almost like something but not quite so, just hanging there, almost menacingly, juxtaposed alongside, above a mountain peak or natural wonder, in a way I find strangely inexplicable.

Floridians bundle up as cold snap hits state
By Chris O'Meara, AP

<<In Belle Glade, helicopters worked to protect corn and green beans from the frigid temperatures. The movement of the helicopter blades helped prevent a frost on crops. Farmers in the Tampa Bay area also kept careful watch as temperatures dipped Wednesday night. George Casey, who manages a blueberry crop in Brooksville with his wife, told the St. Petersburg Times that he expects to lose about 5% of his crop. The cold snap stretched all the way down the Florida peninsula. In Miami-Dade County, Mayor Carlos Alvarez said outreach workers would be on the streets to encourage the homeless to find shelters for the night.>>

I found that image a bit "bizarre". if you enlarge it at max you can see a strange blur effect at the delimitation between the sky and the mountains. As if you photoshop 2 different pictures with a blur effect.
am I the only one to have this feeling?

Can someone explain this blur line?

Jupiter's Red Spot is a cyclonic feature.
